Falcon Development LLC is an independent game studio located in the Midwest making handcrafted games for the PC and Nintendo Switchâ„¢.

History

Lead Developer Tyler Thompson has been making games since he was 10 years old. For many years he managed a large online community centered around one of his larger hobby projects. Prior to forming Falcon Development, Tyler worked professionally in web development. In May of 2016, Tyler began work on "Cattails". In April 2017, the studio launched the Kickstarter campaign for Cattails, which was a hit! The game raised nearly 12x the initial funding goal. Cattails released in 2017 to favorable critical reviews. In 2018, the game was released on the Nintendo Switch eShop. On January 25, 2022, Falcon Development announced the standalone sequel to Cattails, "Cattails: Wildwood Story". A crowdfunding campaign concluded in June 2022 for the game, raising over 800% of its initial funding goal. On October 20, 2023, Cattails: Wildwood Story was released on Steam.
